No match for Doyen Quest on chase debut at Exeter (3m, good) last month but the winner was race fit and had the benefit of experience over fences, progressive over hurdles last term, winning on handicap debut at Ayr (3m, good to soft) in April, and could still have a very bright future in chases.

Won the competitive EBF Novices' Handicap Hurdle Final here (2m4f, good to soft) in March and easily prevailed in a match on chase debut at Uttoxeter (3m, good) in October, faces a much tougher task today but he impressed with his jumping last time and could have lots more to offer in this sphere.

The best of these over hurdles, having gone close in a Grade 2 here (extended 2m5f, good) in April, versatile ground-wise, untested at this trip but it's possible it will be within range and he could improve for his recent chase debut third at Exeter (2m1f, good to soft), major player if seeing it out.
